VORT ( Vehicle On Road Test )
The VORT test, or Vehicle on Road Test, is a test for evaluating a person's driving ability. It is a requirement for obtaining a driver's license in Australia. The test is designed to ensure that the individual has the necessary skills and knowledge to drive safely on the road.

The VORT test has two parts: The first part includes specific manoeuvres such as Reverse parking, making a three-point turn, angle parking, making a U-turn, and hill start. These manoeuvres are designed to test the individual's ability to control the vehicle and navigate through tight spaces.

The second part assesses the individual's overall on-road driving ability. This includes driving on different roads, merging onto freeways, making turns, and following traffic rules. To pass the test, the individual must strictly follow all road rules and any violation of these rules will result in automatic failure. Common mistakes that cause failure include speeding in school zones or construction zones, and not coming to a complete stop at stop signs.

Training and Testing Options at Welcome Driving School for the VORT Test
Welcome driving school is the best school in driving classes which can help you in clearing the vehicle on the road exam (Vort test) and will put your abilities and expertise as a safe and skilled driver to the test.
Our well-trained and certified trainers will support you in your VORT exam which will last roughly 60 minutes and will require you to show 5 low-speed movements (move off up a hill, angle park, U-turn, 3-point turn, and reverse parallel park) as well as normal driving. Because it is the normal requirement, you must pass your Vort with a pass mark of 90% and no violations of traffic law throughout the drive.
Training-Vort Monday through Saturday, testing hours are between 7 a.m. to 4.15 p.m. or sunset (whichever comes first), and on Sunday, between 10 a.m. or sunset (whichever is earlier) your test will be done on an authorized Vort test route and all Vort tests take place in the driving school's vehicle. As an Examiner and Trainer for many years, we discovered that individuals prefer to train and test in the car.
